Senior Season

Alison & Ben

Alison and Ben were married on July 9th at the beautiful Allen Centennial Gardens on UW-Madison's campus.  It was a perfect day for the perfect pair to become man and wife.  We had such a great time shooting these two!  See more of our fun at blog.jefko.com.

Botany

It's the last day of Botany class for the summer already.  These three week courses just fly.  I've really enjoyed spending my mornings in a different park each day in the city.  You can't beat class outside.
These are my final projects- a display of dried plants and a handbook on non-edible/non-medicinal plant uses.  

all PRIDE, no Predjudice.

This morning I woke to the intoxicating beat of "Firework" by Katy Perry blasting on the street outside my window.  It was soon to become the theme song of the day as very proud Chicagoans lined up and down Halsted for the 42nd annual Pride Parade.  There was so much color, spirit, love, joy (and a hefty dose of outrageousness) as I walked up and down the route taking in all the sights.  I even went up on my rooftop to see the street from above and was amazed at just how many people there were.  Love as far as the eye could see.  An estimated over 500,000 people took to the streets to celebrate and support.  Truly a beautiful thing.  It made me proud.

Season of L♡ve

It's that loving time of year...wedding season!  My dad and I shot Kelly and Ryan's wedding last weekend and the celebration begins tomorrow for another couple, my cousin Jason and his fiance Nicole.  We had so much fun with Kelly and Ryan, looking forward to another wacky wedding weekend!
